HINDI MADE EASY - 29 PREPOSITIONAL VERBS

     पर निर्भर करना (par nirbhar karna)        To depend on  

     वह अपने माता-पिता पर निर्भर करता है।         He depends on his parents 

     से डरना (se darna)       To be afraid of             वह अंधेरे से डरता है।    He is afraid of the dark.

     से प्यार करना         (se pyaar karna)              To love                   वह अपने कुत्ते से बहुत प्यार करता है।          He loves his dog very much.

     पर विश्वास करना       (par vishvaas karna)      To believe in            मुझे अपने दोस्तों पर विश्वास है।  I               believe in my friends.

     से नफरत करना (se nafrat karna)  To hate : वह झूठ से नफरत करता है।  He hates lies.

     के लिए इंतज़ार करना (ke liye intezaar karna)         To wait for    वह अपने भाई के लिए इंतज़ार कर             रही है। She is waiting for her brother.

     से मिलना (se milna)              To meet      मैं अपने शिक्षक से मिला।       I met my teacher.

     पर ध्यान देना (par dhyaan dena)     To pay attention to  कृपया अपनी पढ़ाई पर ध्यान दें।  Please pay             attention to your studies.

     से बात करना   (se baat karna)          To talk to / with                  वह अपने दोस्तों से बात कर रही है।                 She is talking to     her friends.

     पर भरोसा करना       (par bharosa karna)           To trust    हमें अपने देश पर भरोसा है।           We trust         our country.

       से सहमत होना (se sahmat hona)       To agree with      मैं आपकी बात से सहमत हूँ।      I agree with              your       point.

     के बारे में सोचना     (ke baare mein sochna)       To think about  मैं अपने भविष्य के बारे में सोच रहा हूँ।           I am thinking about my future.

      से चर्चा करना (se charcha karna)         To discuss with           हमने अपने शिक्षक से चर्चा की।                          We discussed with our teacher.

       से सीखना (se seekhna)              To learn from           मैंने अपनी गलतियों से सीखा।       I learned from           my     mistakes.

.      से सहानुभूति रखना (se sahanubhuti rakhna)    To sympathize with    हम पीड़ितों से सहानुभूति रखते हैं।        We sympathize with the victims. 

       के खिलाफ बोलना        (ke khilaaf bolna)         To speak against         उसने अन्याय के खिलाफ बोला।           He  spoke against injustice.

        के पक्ष में बोलना (ke paksh mein bolna)  To speak in favor of     वह महिला अधिकारों के पक्ष में बोलती         है।      She speaks in favor of women's rights.

      से शिकायत करना (se shikayat karna)    To complain to    उसने मैनेजर से शिकायत की।   He                     complained    to the manager.

      से डर लगना (se dar lagna)    To feel scared of     मुझे ऊँचा ई से डर लगता है।   I feel     scared of                  heights.

        से जुड़ा होना (se juda hona)         To be connected with     यह योजना किसानों से जुड़ी है।        This               scheme  is connected with farmers.

        के बाद आना     (ke baad aana)          To come after     वह मेरे बाद आया।               He came after me.

        के साथ जाना      (ke saath jana)              To go with               वह अपनी बहन के साथ गया।                            He        went with his sister.

       से भरा होना (se bhara hona)    To be full of       यह बैग किताबों से भरा है।           This bag is full of                books.

        के कारण होना (ke kaaran hona)  To be due to  यह सब आपकी मेहनत के कारण हुआ।  This all                     happened because of your hard work..

         के बारे में पूछना    (ke baare mein poochhna)      To ask about      उसने परीक्षा के बारे में पूछा।     He             asked about the exam.

          के बिना नहीं रहना (ke bina nahin rehna)  Can’t live without  मैं संगीत के बिना नहीं रह सकता।         I          can’t     live without music.

         से संबंधित होना (se sambandhit hona)    To be related to       यह मामला शिक्षा से संबंधित है।    This             matter is related to education.

         के पास होना (ke paas hona)  To have / be near         मेरे पास एक पुरानी घड़ी है।       I have an old                 watch.

          से तुलना करना (se tulna karna)     To compare with      उन्होंने पुराने मॉडल से तुलना की।      They              compared it with the old model.

     के लिए काम करना (ke liye kaam karna) Meaning: To work for Sentence: वह एक NGO के लिए काम         करता है। Translation: He works for an NGO.

     से अलग होना (se alag hona)          To be different from              यह रंग पहले वाले से अलग है।  This             color is different from the previous one.

      के बारे में जानकारी देना (ke baare mein jaankaari dena)  To inform about  उन्होंने परीक्षा के बारे में              जानकारी दी।  They informed about the exam.

     से दोस्ती करना (se dosti karna)  To make friends with  उसने नए छात्र से दोस्ती की।    He made friends         with the new student.

     के लिए जिम्मेदार होना (ke liye zimmedaar hona)          To be responsible for  वह इस गलती के लिए             जिम्मेदार       है।  He is responsible for this mistake.

    से निपटना (se nipatna)  To deal with  पुलिस ने स्थिति से अच्छे से निपटा।  The police dealt with the                 situation well.

     पर असर डालना (par asar daalna)    To affect नींद की कमी से पढ़ाई पर असर पड़ता है।      Lack of             sleep    affects studies.

     से प्रेरणा लेना (se prerna lena)  To take inspiration from      मैं अपने पिता से प्रेरणा लेता हूँ।    I take                 inspiration from my father.

.     के तहत आना (ke tahat aana) To come under  यह योजना सरकारी नियमों के तहत आती है।  This plan          comes under government rules.

     से बचना (se bachna)       To avoid        हमें बुरी संगति से बचना चाहिए।        We should avoid bad                  company.

     से उम्मीद करना (se ummeed karna)       To expect from       मुझे आपसे बहुत उम्मीदें हैं।     I expect a         lot from you.

     से निपटना (se nipatna)        To cope with      वह कठिनाइयों से निपट रहा है।    He is coping with                  difficulties

     के खिलाफ जाना (ke khilaaf jana)      To go against        वह नियमों के खिलाफ गया।       He went against     the rules.

    पर निर्भर रहना (par nirbhar rehna)        To rely upon           आप हमेशा तकनीक पर निर्भर नहीं रह सकते।      You can’t always rely on technology.

    से बहस करना (se bahas karna)      To argue with  वह अपने भाई से बहस कर रहा था।    He was arguing     with his brother 

    के पीछे भागना (ke peeche bhaagna)      To run after       वह पैसे के पीछे भाग रहा है।        He is running         after money.

     के साथ सहमत होना (ke saath sahmat hona)      To agree with          मैं तुम्हारे विचारों के साथ सहमत हूँ।          I agree with your views.

     के ऊपर निर्भर होना (ke upar nirbhar hona)       To depend on        परीक्षा का परिणाम मेहनत के ऊपर            निर्भर करता है।  Exam result depends on hard work.

    से प्रेरित होना (se prerit hona)    To be inspired by            वह गांधी जी से प्रेरित था।        He was inspired         by Gandhi Ji.
