                                                           SIMPLE PAST TENSE 

            मैं कल बाजार गया। – I went to the market yesterday.

            उसने खाना खाया। – He/She ate food.

            हमने फिल्म देखी। – We watched a movie.

            वे स्कूल गए। – They went to school.

            तुमने सवाल पूछा। – You asked a question.

            उसने मुझे फोन किया। – He/She called me.

            मैंने किताब पढ़ी। – I read a book.

            हम देर से आए। – We came late.

            उन्होंने चाय बनाई। – They made tea.

            बच्चा रोया। – The child cried.

            मैंने दरवाज़ा बंद किया। – I closed the door.

            तुमने झूठ बोला। – You told a lie.

            उसने मुझे देखा। – He/She saw me.

            उन्होंने परीक्षा दी। – They took the exam.

            मैंने दूध पिया। – I drank milk.

            वह घर पर नहीं था। – He was not at home.

            उन्होंने पार्टी की। – They had a party.

            मैं सुबह जल्दी उठा। – I woke up early in the morning.

            उसने कपड़े धोए। – He/She washed the clothes.

            हमने तस्वीर ली। – We took a picture.

            तुमने गाना गाया। – You sang a song.

            मैंने तुम्हें बुलाया। – I called you.

            उसने मुझसे बात की। – He/She talked to me.

            उन्होंने सब्ज़ी खरीदी। – They bought vegetables.

            हमने काम खत्म किया। – We finished the work.

            मैंने जवाब दिया। – I gave an answer.

            उसने दरवाज़ा खोला। – He/She opened the door.

            तुमने खाना बनाया। – You cooked food.

            वे कल आए थे। – They had come yesterday.

            उसने मुझे मारा। – He/She hit me.

            मैंने सच बताया। – I told the truth.

            हम बाज़ार गए थे। – We had gone to the market.
