  1. क्या हाल है?                                What’s the situation? / How are you?
  2. क्या तुम ठीक हो?                         Are you okay?

  5. क्या तुम्हें भूख लगी है?               Are you hungry?

  9. क्या आज बारिश होगी?            Will it rain today?

      क्यों (Kyon) – Why 


  1. तुम क्यों रो रहे हो?                  Why are you crying?
  2. वह क्यों नहीं आया?                Why didn’t he come?
  3. तुमने क्यों कहा?                     Why did you say that?
  4. तुम क्यों हँस रहे हो?               Why are you laughing?
  5. हम वहाँ क्यों जाएँ?                 Why should we go there?
  6. यह क्यों हुआ?                       Why did this happen?
  7. तुम देर से क्यों आए?              Why did you come late?
  8. तुम परेशान क्यों हो?              Why are you upset?
  9. आपने मदद क्यों नहीं की?     Why didn’t you help?
  10. बच्चे चुप क्यों हैं?                   Why are the kids quiet?

  12.   कब (Kab) – When 
  1. तुम कब आओगे?                   When will you come?
  2. स्कूल कब शुरू होता है?         When does school start?
  3. वह कब जाएगा?                     When will he go?
  4. छुट्टी कब है?                           When is the holiday?
  5. बारिश कब रुकेगी?                When will the rain stop?
  6. परीक्षा कब है?                       When is the exam?
  7. खाना कब बनेगा?                  When will the food be ready?
  8. वे कब आए थे?                      When did they come?
  9. अगली ट्रेन कब है?                 When is the next train?
  10. तुम कब तक रहोगे?                Until when will you stay?

    5. किधर (Kidhar) –                Which Direction / Which Way 

  1. वह किधर गया?                    Which way did he go?
  2. स्टेशन किधर है?                   Which direction is the station?
  3. गाड़ी किधर मुड़ी?                 Which way did the car turn?
  4. बाजार किधर है?                   Where is the market (direction)?
  5. तुम किधर से आए?               From which way did you come?
  6. सूरज किधर से निकलता है?  From which direction does the sun rise?
  7. वह किधर देख रहा है?          Which way is he looking?
  8. किधर जाना है?                     Which way do we have to go?
  9. तुम किधर जा रहे थे?            Where were you headed?
  10. रास्ता किधर है?                   Which way is the path?
