HINDI GRAMMAR MADE EASY - 3 GRAMMAR - USE OF PRONOUNS


           

                                                                        PRONOUNS


             Pronouns are called Sarvanam in Hindi .  Pronouns are used in place of Nouns to avoid                         repetition.


            1.    Personal Pronouns (व्यक्तिवाचक सर्वनाम)


            These refer to specific persons or things.

    मैं (Main)Iमैं स्कूल जाता हूँ।I go to school.
    हम (Hum)Weहम खेल रहे हैं।We are playing.

    आप (Aap)You (formal)आप कैसे हैं?How are you?
    वह (Vah) / वो (Vo)He/She/Itवह किताब पढ़ रहा है।He is reading a book.
    वे (Ve)Theyवे बाजार गए।They went to the market.

    2. Possessive Pronouns (संबंधवाचक सर्वनाम)

    These show possession or belonging.

    उसका (Uska)His/Her/Hersउसका भाई डॉक्टर है।His brother is a doctor.
    उनका (Unka)Their/Theirsउनका घर बहुत सुंदर है।Their house is very beautiful.

    3. Demonstrative Pronouns (संकेतवाचक सर्वनाम)

    These point out a specific thing or person.

    4. Interrogative Pronouns (प्रश्नवाचक सर्वनाम)

    These are used to ask questions.

    5. Reflexive Pronouns (निजवाचक सर्वनाम

    These refer back to the subject of the sentence.

    6.  Indefinite Pronouns (अनिश्चयवाचक सर्वनाम)

    These refer to unspecified people or things

    अन्य (Anya)        Others                      अन्य लोग भी आ रहे हैं।     Others are also coming.
